			The Lord Needs Men

			The Lord needs men to stand on guard
			   As stalwart as a rock.
			Not weak-kneed men who are faint of heart
			   And fall beneath the shock
			As demon forces vent their rage,
			   But fearless as a gale;
			Who hold their places and push on
			   Though ranks of hell assail.
			The Lord needs men who will not flinch
			   When wounded in the fray,
			Strong hearted men who stand and fight
			   When others turn away.
			The Lord needs men of firm intent,
			   Unwavering as steel,
			With eyes steadfast upon the goal,
			   Whose tested lives reveal
			The actuality of faith,
			   The power of Pentecost.
			The Lord needs lives which shout His name
			   To all the halt and lost.
			So stand true, you men of God,
			   And do not hesitate;
			Proclaim His Word with tongues of flame;
			   The hour is growing late!
