Tammy
A blessing from God on that day in September
So precious to us all, we’ll always remember
Her soul was made in Heaven above
and her life emerged from out of our love
From parents to grandparents and family throughout
She brought a joy to our lives to rejoice about
In touch with the angels her smiles would show
And her soul was as pure as new fallen snow
Her cries could break the silence of night
It was quite a disturbance from such a small sight
There were kisses and toys and diapers galore
It was part of the micracle that we adore
The scoots and crawls were replaced with a walk
And her thoughts grew out of the baby talk
Now she’s all grown up with a beautiful smile
But she is still our baby, as I think back awhile
The innocence of the baby is hard to miss
It’s still within, with all of her bliss
With an outlook on life that’s beyond compare
Our baby . . . sweet and rare. . . Tammy.
